If you are reading this...
I praise you. You must be pretty cool to have found my blog. Obviously I'm a little bit of a dork, since I have a blog about the environment. But, let me explain to you my reasoning behind this odd choice of an outlet.
We are quickly plunging, as a planet, into a place from which we will never return. Our generation is defined not by walking on the moon or writing the Harry Potter books. No. This generations is characterized by background extinction and brutal warfare. If you are a teenager, you may have heard from an adult in your life, "It's up to you to fix all of our problems, kid."
WELL THAT'S JUST GREAT!
What the adults are basically telling us is that they don't have any idea how to fix most of the problems they created, but since we're capable of scoring a perfect score on the SAT, we can totally stop the melting of the icecaps.
Fixing the problems of the world can't just be up to my high school graduating class. Everybody must work together to find solutions. I don't care if you are rich or poor, 8 or 80. The idea that cures Ebola may be inside of you. You could be the person we need in the White House. It is our responsibility to know, to inspire, to grow. In this blog, I will be logging my experiences on my adventure to save the world. Hopefully, I can inspire you to do the same. Share your story. Change the world.
